Emma graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne in 1999 with First class honours and received a travel scholarship in recognition of her final project. She worked for RMJM in London before joining David Grindley Architects in 2002.
At RMJM she gained experience of large-scale educational projects through working on Newbury College, University of Birmingham Continuing Education Faculty, and also master planning for the University of Hertfordshire Hatfield Campus.
She completed her RIBA part two (commendation) and three (distinction) at The Barlett School of Architecture, University College London, where she studied evacuated solar tube technology and renewable energy systems as part of her technical dissertation. Emma has worked on number of projects at David Grindley Architects including Headington Baptist Church, Walton High Post 16 School and a number of medical centres in Reading, Slough and Mortimer.
